  • Quotations: All quotations (quotes/estimates) provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided by you at the time of assessment and visible site conditions.

  • Formation of Contract: A binding contract between us will only be formed when you accept a written quotation from us in writing (email or signed document) and we confirm acceptance, or upon commencement of works at your instruction (whichever is sooner).

  • Specification: The agreed price is for the works specified in the quotation. Any additional works will be subject to a separate written variation (see Clause 9).

7. Pricing & Payment

  • Deposit: A deposit of 30% of the total quoted price may be required to secure your booking and for material procurement. This will be clearly stated in your quotation.

  • Stage/Interim Payments: For larger projects, stage payments may be agreed and outlined in the quotation.

  • Final Payment: The final balance is due in full upon satisfactory completion of the works, prior to the removal of any machinery from site, unless a credit account agreement is in place.

  • Payment Methods: Payment can be made via Bank Transfer, Card, Cash. Details will be on our invoice.

  • Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. All costs incurred in the recovery of overdue debts will be the responsibility of the client.

8. Scheduling & Access

  • You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to the worksite on the agreed start date and for the duration of the project. Delays caused by lack of access, adverse weather conditions, or previously undiscovered site complications (e.g., unknown underground services, poor ground conditions) may affect the project timeline and cost.

9. Variations & Additional Works

  • If you request changes or additional works not included in the original quotation, we will provide a written Variation Order detailing the extra time and cost. No such works will be undertaken without your written approval of the Variation Order.

10. Client Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for:

    • Ensuring all necessary planning permissions or consents are obtained.

    • Accurately identifying the location of all underground services (gas, water, electric, telecoms, drainage) before work commences. While we take all reasonable care, we cannot be held liable for damage to services not accurately marked.

    • Securing and keeping safe any pets, children, or vulnerable persons during working hours.

    • Protecting your own property (e.g., moving breakables, valuable garden ornaments).

11. Our Workmanship & Materials

  • We warrant our workmanship to be of satisfactory quality for a period of 12 months from completion.

  • We will use materials as specified in the quotation. While we make every effort to use materials from reputable suppliers, we cannot guarantee the longevity of natural products (e.g., timber, stone) beyond standard industry expectations.

  • All plant, machinery, and tools used on site are fully certified, maintained, and operated by trained personnel. We hold full public liability insurance of up to 5 million and employer's liability insurance.

12. Limitations of Liability

  • Our total liability to you for any loss or damage shall not exceed the total value of the contract.

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, or anticipated savings.

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter for which it would be illegal to limit or exclude liability.

13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, war, civil commotion, strikes, or pandemics.

14. Cancellation

  • By You: If you cancel a confirmed contract more than 7 working days before the scheduled start date, any deposit paid will be refunded minus costs incurred for materials ordered. Cancellation within 7 working days may result in forfeiture of the full deposit.

  • By Us: We reserve the right to cancel a contract due to unsafe site conditions, non-payment, or if we discover information that makes the project unviable. In such a case, a full refund of any monies paid will be issued.

15. Complaints
We strive for complete customer satisfaction. Any complaint must be raised in writing within 14 days of project completion. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and work with you to reach a fair resolution.
